Bennett Ranch is a family friendly neighborhood in the north region of Lake Forest, California. This single family home community offers beautiful views of greenbelts, eucalyptus trees, parks, and trails.

Bennett Ranch was built by William Lyon Homes in 1980 and today has 354 houses. The North subdivision has 19 homes that range from 1,410 to 1,998 square feet. They have three to four bedrooms and two-car garages. The South subdivision has 63 homes with the same floor plans. Residents enjoy low Home Owners Association fees and no Mello Roos taxes.

The Saddleback Unified School District serves this neighborhood with top rated schools like Cordillera Elementary and Los Alisos Intermediate School. Students also attend Toro High School which is one of the top schools in Southern California. There are several private facilities such as Abiding Savior Lutheran School, Escalade Academy, Lake Forest Montessori School, and Arbor Christian School.

The Foothill Ranch Town Center has a theater complex as well as many high end merchants.There are many trails and parks near this neighborhood like Cherry Park, El Toro Community Park, Aliso Creek Trail, and Alicia Park. This is a great neighborhood for biking, walking, and hiking. Residents have easy access to toll roads, shopping, places of worship, and entertainment. The Lake Forest Golf Club offers a 9-hole executive par 29 course for beginners and experts.

Lake Forest was once known as El Toro and is a city in Orange County. At one time it was considered a military town with the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro located just a mile for the city. When the base closed in 1999, the city had all ready started to grow independently.
